In the article “Stereotypes, where do they come from?” they say that “...in this modern society, media - especially the internet - become the most powerful source that influences people’s stereotypes.”. The article also states how stereotypes come from many different sources “...such as family, school education and media.”. Our way of thinking comes from the sources in which we see and are exposed to everyday. In the article of “Catalyst Study” it had also stated that “Research indicates that most people are not aware of how stereotypes automatically influences their [way of] thinking.”
Gender stereotypes have lead to an impact on gender roles for both men and women.
